Beautiful vs. Sublime (my romantic view of Bogotá) {Bogotá – 2005}

This is a video exercise I did in my second year of bachelor, trying to express my view on the concepts of beautiful and sublime, as understood in the Romanticism. It is also a critique of the social gaps present in Bogotá, and how our aesthetic criteria is determined by this (the ‘rich neighborhoods’ are beautiful, yet the ‘poor neighborhoods’ are sublime). The music is from the Romanticism and tries to accentuate the mood.
